Subscription Policy

Last updated October 2, 2026

1. Scope of this Policy

This Subscription Policy applies to paid subscription features made available through the Scanguin App. It explains the rules that govern subscription purchases, billing, renewals, trials, cancellations, promotional offers, and refund requests.

This Policy forms part of our Terms of Use. If you purchase a Subscription, the terms presented to you during the purchase process will apply together with this Policy.

2. Subscription Plans and Pricing

Scanguin may offer one or more paid Subscription plans that provide access to premium or additional features within the App. We may also make optional upgrades, add-ons, or separately priced functionality available.

Before you complete a purchase, we will display the key commercial terms applicable to the selected offer. These may include the price, currency, billing interval, whether the Subscription renews automatically, the renewal price, and any conditions attached to a trial, introductory rate, or promotional offer.

You are responsible for the amount shown at checkout, together with any applicable taxes disclosed before purchase. Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may impose separate fees, such as foreign transaction or currency conversion charges. Any such third-party fees are outside our control.

3. Payment Authorization

When you confirm a Subscription purchase, you authorize us and/or the relevant payment processor to charge the payment method selected for that transaction.

Depending on the purchase method used, confirmation may be given through device-based approval, one-click confirmation, entry of payment details within the App, or another supported Apple, Google, or third-party payment interface.

The amount charged at the start of your Subscription will be the amount disclosed before you confirm the transaction. If the Subscription renews automatically, your authorization also applies to recurring charges for later billing periods at the renewal price presented to you in connection with the offer, subject to any valid price change made in accordance with this Policy.

4. Trials and Promotional Offers

Certain Subscription plans may be offered with a free or discounted trial period. If a trial is available, its duration, applicable price after the trial, and other relevant conditions will be shown before you accept the offer.

Unless you cancel before the trial expires, the trial will convert into a paid Subscription and the payment method associated with the purchase may be charged the applicable Subscription price.

If no trial is displayed during the purchase process, the paid Subscription begins once the purchase has been successfully completed.

We may also offer limited-time discounts, introductory pricing, or other promotional terms. Unless the relevant offer states otherwise, the Subscription may continue after the promotional period at the standard renewal price disclosed before purchase.

5. Renewal and Duration

Subscriptions are offered on an automatically renewing basis. At the end of each billing period, your Subscription will renew for another billing period unless it has been canceled before the applicable renewal date. The billing frequency and renewal price applicable to your Subscription will be disclosed as part of the purchase flow.

Where you purchase more than one Subscription or separately billed service, each purchase is treated independently. Ending one Subscription does not automatically affect any other active Subscription.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel a trial or Subscription before the next renewal in order to prevent future recurring charges.

Cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the billing period for which payment has already been made. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, you may continue to use the paid features until that period expires.

You may request cancellation by contacting our Support Team at support@scanguin.app. We recommend submitting your request at least 24 hours before the end of the applicable trial or current billing period so that there is sufficient time for the request to be processed before renewal.

Deleting your Account and canceling a Subscription are separate actions. Deleting your Account does not, by itself, cancel an active Subscription.

7. Refunds

Payments made for a Subscription are generally non-refundable once processed, unless a refund is required by applicable law, expressly provided under the relevant purchase terms.

Canceling a Subscription prevents future renewals but does not normally create a right to reimbursement for a billing period that has already started, has already expired, or during which the paid features were made available.

8. Changes to Subscription Prices

We may revise Subscription prices from time to time.

Where required, we will provide reasonable notice before a new price applies to an existing Subscription. Notice may be provided through the Scanguin App, by email, or through another reasonable method.

If you do not wish to continue your Subscription at the revised price, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

9. Subscription Management

Your Subscription should be managed through the purchase or account-management method made available for the relevant Scanguin Subscription.

Where a Subscription has been purchased through a third-party billing interface, additional billing or cancellation rules imposed by that provider may also apply.

10. Contact

If you have questions about a Subscription, billing, renewal, cancellation, or a refund request, please contact our Support Team at support@scanguin.app.
